When you think of Art Deco, you immediately think of Gatsby: glamorous parties, geometric patterns, gold colors, and extravagant décor. All of these elements are the trademark of the roaring 1920’s, and are the inspiration behind Megan’s beautiful wedding invitations. To incorporate Megan’s wedding theme into her invitation suite, we created a geometric design and used an art-deco-style font for the wording. To achieve a luxurious and bold feel, we gold-foiled the entire design of the invite on black paper stock and letterpress-printed the enclosure cards in black on soft white paper stock. Then, we layered the invites with a beautiful gold-glittered paper and mounted them on a black pearl pocket-fold. For a personal touch, we created a gold-glitter bellyband and monogram letterpress tags displaying the wedding date. Lastly, we paired the invites with gold-pearlescent envelopes. We love the look of these glamorous Art Deco custom wedding invitations!
