We had the pleasure of working with Christina + Naveen on their custom wedding invitations. Christina wanted to incorporate an English garden design with a modern-vintage feel. To bring her vision to live we created a clean design for the invite and printed the wording using the letterpress method to add a vintage touch. To incorporate the English garden inspiration, we took our hand-drawn magnolias and used it as the pattern for the paper layer underneath the invitation. To add a personal touch, we incorporated a hand-drawn map on the accommodations displaying the wedding venue, the hotel, and their home. We also, gold-foiled the magnolias and the bride and groom’s name on the invitation to give the suite a modern-luxury feel. As a final detail we mounted the layered invite on a gold leaf pearlescent pocket-fold and carried the magnolia design into the envelope liners. We love the sophisticated look of these garden inspired wedding invitations!
