Check out these beautiful pictures taken by Trish Baker Photography of Vanessa + Reginald’s gorgeous wedding! We had the pleasure of working with them on their Hawaiian-inspired letterpress wedding invitations. Creating this couple’s invitations was a lot of fun! They were married at Haiku Mill, a beautiful historic sugar mill located in Maui, the stunning beauty of this place instantly inspired us and we wanted to incorporate the natural and organic beauty surrounding the venue into the invitation suite. To accomplish this we created a hand drawn design highlighting the lush beauty of Hawaii with an elegant touch. To bring out a vintage feel, we used the antique method of letterpress printing and pressed the invitation in emerald green ink. Since she had a lot of information to share with her guests, we created the enclosure cards in an accordion style and included our personalized hand-drawn map of the island of Maui, wedding itinerary, website, wedding reception information, and perforated RSVP cards. To finish the design, we wrapped each suite with a matching bellyband and paired the invites with a beautiful green envelope.We love how all of these details gave these Hawaiian-inspired letterpress invitations the perfect balance of tropical beauty and elegant flair!
