I am super excited to feature these beautiful old–Hollywood inspired wedding invitations we created for Robyn + David! This couple planned to celebrate their big day at Nanina’s In The Park, a stunningly beautiful venue located in New Jersey, and their wish was to incorporate the glamorous and sophisticated elements of 1920s Hollywood fashion into their wedding invitations. To pull in the luxurious and vintage feel of the 20s, I created a design featuring an elegant monogram along with a delicate border showcasing the scroll pattern iconic to the era. To further incorporate the glamorous look, I carried the scroll design onto the rest of the paper goods and incorporated gold foil touches to the invite. For a personal touch, I took the scallop sequin from Robyn’s dress as inspiration and carried the scallop motif into the envelope liners. Finally, each suite was letterpress printed in navy ink and paired with a pearlescent navy envelope. I love how everything came together and beautifully reflect the glitz and glam feel of the old Hollywood lifestyle. Check out the images and tell us what you think!
