We had the pleasure of working with Brittany and Matthew on their custom Save-the-Date and letterpress wedding invitations. The future bride and groom will be getting married at El Chorro, a beautiful historic property located in Paradise Valley, Arizona, and their wish was to incorporate a blend of southwestern elements with vintage touches into their invites. Inspired by Arizona’s desert landscape and other iconic features of the southwest, we created a custom design displaying Aztec prints and a beautiful watercolor drawing of El Chorro’s scenic view, the famous Camelback Mountain. To create a vintage feel, we pressed the entire suite in our sand ink and pressed the Aztec design in blush. We also carried the Aztec pattern throughout the rest of the suite and blind-pressed it on both the enclosure cards and rsvp cards. To tie the suite together, we designed a bellyband with the same Aztec pattern. As a final detail, we created envelope liners displaying the watercolor hand drawing and paired the invitations with gravel envelopes. We love how these beautiful southwestern-themed wedding invitations feature so many details unique to this dreamy Arizona wedding!
