I had the pleasure of working with Sherri Meyers (owner of The Pastry Studio) on her custom holiday party invitations. Sherri wanted the invitations to display a fun yet elegant design for her holiday soiree, so I created a very simple, clean, and fun design by using a marble-patterned paper with gold shimmer accents (the pattern of the paper reminded me strongly of cake batter, so I thought it would be the perfect personal touch for her invites). For an elegant feel, we duplexed the back of the invites with matte black paper stocks and printed the entire design in black ink using the letterpress method. Lastly, we paired the invitations with pearlescent gold-leaf envelopes and embellished each envelope by incorporating custom-made black envelope liners. I think the end result looks fabulous!!!
