I loved working with Jackie on these graduation announcements. I had known Jackie for some time, working on various projects with MMD Events, but never met her in person. So when she wanted to meet up to discuss her graduation announcements I was both thrilled and honored. When we met she had the best personality so bubbly and sweet and we hit it off right away! She was graduating from the University of Central Florida (my alma mater) with her Masters degree and she didn’t want to use the stuffy graduation announcements they encourage their graduates to buy. She had a couple requirements when designing her invitations, she wanted the use of mixed typography, she wanted her school colors, she wanted something fun yet elegant and she absolutely did not want the UCF emblem.
We went with a modern typography design and double layered the invitation with both gold and black pearl paper. We paired the announcement with a gorgeous patterned envelope liner that incorporated her colors as well as various foil elements.
