I had a blast creating these beautiful Indian-inspired wedding invitations! Indian designs are intricate, artistic, and a wonderful indulgence for the creative mind. Needless to say, we were up for challenge when Lauren + Shami came to us to create their wedding invitations! The bride and groom wanted a design that would fuse the elements of their Christian-Sikh wedding. To bring their vision to life, we mixed traditional Indian elements with Lauren’s classic and timeless style. Lauren + Shami had a lot of information to share with their guests, so we developed a custom pocket-style wedding invitation suite, alternating paper stock colors and printing methods. To decorate the front of the custom pocket, we created a design resembling the traditional elaborate Indian patterns and layered it on gold glitter and opal pearlescent papers. On the inner section of the pocket-fold, we showcased the couple’s names and adorned the edges with a beautiful henna design. We then carried the henna design throughout the paper pieces and finished the suite with white envelopes embellished with purple envelope liners. We absolutely love all of the details in these wedding invitations! The gold foil printing on purple paper stock and the purple letterpress printing on soft white paper stock really gave these invites an elegant touch with an Indian twist!

I love this Indian inspired wedding invitation you’ve created! It’s beautiful! My fiancĂ© is Indian and I’m Ana Eric an. We’re going to represent both cultures in our wedding. I’ve been having a hard time finding invitations that achieve the look of both. But this is great! I would love to get more information about this style and personalizing it. Thank you!
HI Kelly,
We’d be happy to help you with your wedding invitations! Could you tell me how many invitation are you looking for?
Hi —
I love the laser cut pocket-fold design — I was wondering how much it would cost to custom make me something for my traditional Hindu wedding (with an artsy Ganesh symbol in the middle of it), but keeping with your style and making it a bit more modern? I also love the elegance of the gold foil and letterpress printing option (possibly using a pretty shade of red with creams, keeping it a bit more traditional), but not sure if it will fit in my budget…I was hoping you can help me get an idea of how much it will cost to make a pocket folder invitation set, possibly letterpressed and/or digitally printed? I would need a wedding invite, plus 5 inserts at varying lengths (mendhi, vidhi, welcome party, reception, and a small rsvp online information).
Thank you!
