Hi friends.

I want to start a new segment on this blog called Inspired Design. The idea behind this segment is to show off beautiful things that simply inspire me. I don’t know about you all but I know I often get focused on all my “to-dos” and “life’s day to day” that I sometimes forget to stop and look around and see the beauty around me. So in my attempt to live every day to the fullest and see the beauty around me. Each week I will showcase something that’s inspiring me and how it inspired me to create a paper good. And hopefully, it will introduce you to a new world filled with artistic beauty and inspire you to create something beautiful.

This week, partly since it’s my birthday this weekend, I am inspired by garland. I have seen garland become such a trend over the past year and I just love it. I think it has such a homemade crafty elegance about it. I love that it can become such an easy DIY project and it can be themed to anything you like. And, if you don’t want to create your own you can purchase them for really affordable prices. Here are a couple of my favorite garlands.

I was inspired by all this pretty vintage garland that I designed this sweet note card. This note card set is now on sale in my etsy shop.  For the first week of each inspired design creation I am going to offer 10% off the total cost. If you would like to take advantage of this offer please send me an email with the code INSPIREDDESIGN in your purchase request.
