We had the pleasure of working with Kate and Michael on their tropical wedding invitations. Kate was just the sweetest laid back bride! When we met to discuss their custom design, she mentioned she wanted tropical but not beach-ie. When told me her color palette of orange and lime green I knew instantly I wanted something with a tropical flower. Pat whipped up some hand drawn plumerias, hibiscus and hand painted an orchid. Kate and Mike decided on the hand drawn plumeria. We digitally printed these invitations on a heavy weight linen paper. We paired the invitation suite with a patterned envelope liner to pull the design together. For her reception paper goods, she wanted to tie in their two dogs. We created table numbers with their dog’s photos in each table number and place cards that were tied to doggie bones. We can’t wait to see photos of how her reception paper goods worked with the rest of the decor.
