We absolutely loved working with Mary + Erik! It is always fun for us when a couple gives us creative freedom to design their perfect custom wedding invitation suite.
Mary + Erik were getting married at a beautifully restored Bed and Breakfast located in a historical town by the Gulf of Mexico in Florida. Their wish was to incorporate Old Florida charm and elegance onto their wedding stationery.
We hand drew their wedding site and letterpressed the entire suite in a sand ink color. To pull in more of their color palette we added two paper layers around their invitation suite. We love the contrasting paper layers in pearlescent against the cotton paper and the deep impression of the letterpress!! To bring in a bit more of the Old Florida style, we watercolored palmetto palm trees and added them to the envelope liner. The envelopes were a sand color, which added a subtle touch of elegance. To finalize the design we wrapped each invitation with a gold twine and a letterpressed monogram tag. This is definitely one of our favorite custom wedding invitation suites. We hope you like it too!
