We had the pleasure of working with the MOG (Mother of the Groom) for Heather + James’ rehearsal dinner invitation. (We also did their engagement party invitation too!) The rehearsal dinner will be hosted at the Woodford Reserve Distillery, the oldest and smallest distillery in Kentucky. James’ mother wanted to really capture the essence of the distillery in the invitations. To accomplish this, we created a hand drawing of the venue and then watercolored it on the front of the invitation, we also drew up whisky barrels and the copper stills. The invitation was flat-printed on a pearlescent paper and layered with a copper pearlescent paper. We also, mounted the directions on the back side of the invitation.
We loved how all of the elements of this invitation fit the occasion perfectly and really speak to the location!
