These rustic letterpress wedding invitations were inspired by the beautiful oak trees adorning the grounds of the historic Epping Forest Yacht Club, located in Jacksonville Florida. Kristen + David planned to exchange vows beneath two beautiful oak trees and their wish was to incorporate the senescent trees into their invitation design. To bring their vision to live, we drew a sketch of the oak trees and included the design on the edges to surround the wording in the invitations. To fuse the elegant and rustic elements, we displayed their names using an elegant font and pressed the invitation in sand ink on a thick, larger size soft white Crane’s lettra cotton paper stock. To finish the design we personalized each envelope with gold-textured envelope liners.
