We are starting a new series on our blog every Monday called Weekend Adventurers. Pat and I are always on the go and we love exploring new places and things to do on the weekend. During the week we are busy busy designing and creating beautiful pieces of art, and on the weekends we like to rejuvenate our adventurous spirit.
This past weekend we started a little early on Friday with a town wide garage sale. This is a fairly new thing for us. As of late, I have been obsessed with vintage finds and we have had lots of luck going to random garage sales. One of my favorite blogs is designsponge, they have a great DIY before and after section that keeps me always on the hunt for good finds to DIY.
On Sunday, it was my brother-in-laws birthday so we had a little BBQ fully equipped with a hot dog bar (one of my all time favorites) and I baked up some Boston Cream cupcakes, a recipe I found on The Food Network. I tweaked it a bit to make it my own, but they are definitely a must try! Here’s a peak at the finished product!
