Coming down from the high of attending the Bon Jovi concert this past weekend… yes, I am still dancing to his music even today but I can’t seem to get one of his songs, “It’s my life” off my mind. I have heard the song a trillion times and know all the lyrics but on Saturday as I was singing at the top of my lungs. I couldn’t help but really take in the lyrics…

These words really hold true to me and it was almost as if Jon himself was singing them for me. Pat and I have been talking a lot about this, living for the moment, following our dreams, doing what we love every day and experiencing the world around us. These are such sweet statements and in our hearts we truly want to do them and believe in them but sometimes it’s hard. Sometimes you have to break out of the norm and go against the school of swimming fish and make your own path. I have always been a person that has lived for the moment and experienced life to the fullest and I am just so proud of us for opening our eyes and heart to exactly what we want in our life, we are grabbing the bull by the horns and taking charge… so this year… “It’s My Life” is my theme song and I am going to make my dreams come true and my goals a reality!
