We had the opportunity to work with Events with Kelly and The Apostolic Wife on a styled shoot last month. I always love working with some of my fave vendors in the industry and seeing how everyone puts the creative juices together to create a beautiful shoot.

The design direction for this shoot was Modern Disco with a color palette of pinks, white, iridescent tones and a touch of earthy tropical.

To capture the overall design style in the invitation suite we played with a muted pink color palette. We used a fun vintage inspired font for the couples names and kept the overall design of the invitation clean to pull in the modern feel. Each paper was a different color of pink and the envelopes featured a nude pearlescent color, which brought that iridescent vibe into the invitation but still keeping it feeling classy. We added a fun earthy tropical envelope liner to pull all the different color tones together. I love the way it turned out. If I had a little more time to design the paper goods, I would have incorporated a vellum paper (maybe the details card) and added some white addressing on the nude envelopes.

I love how the whole shoot came together. What do you think? Would you want to incorporate a modern disco with earthy tones into your wedding?
