Real Wedding: Maddie + Jonny

We loved creating the perfect invitation suite for Maddie + Jonny. When Maddie described her wedding style she wanted something formal & elegant with lots of gold touches. She envisioned a design element that she could carry through to her day of paper goods as well but she didn’t want the design to be over powering or take away from the elegance of her event.

We decided to take the Hepburn design from our Design Bar Collection and personalize it to fit their wedding style. The beautiful ornate border was the perfect design element Maddie was looking for. All of her paper pieces were letterpress printed with black ink and we printed the border and their names in gold foil. We added champagne pearl envelopes. We created a custom monogram that was incorporated into the invitation suite on the bellyband, wax seal and custom postage.

One of my favorite details of her invitation suite was the custom map of downtown Tampa Bay. The custom map features the church & reception site, their favorite bars and places to go in Tampa as well as where their hotel blocks are located. This is such a fun way to get your guests excited about your wedding destination.

We carried the design of her invitation suite into her day of paper pieces. We added that beautiful map into her welcome bag but this time included their favorite bars, restaurant’s and activities to do in Tampa. The beautiful border design was carried onto her programs and menu cards and she even used different color wax seals on the place cards to indicate each guest’s meal selection. And, we carried the design onto all of her signage throughout the wedding – seating charts, bar menus, favor & guest book signs.
